They work with groups of women from vulnerable communities who understand the problem and are willing to prevent chronic malnutrition in children under 5 years of age. They train in issues of food and nutritional security, food preparation, timely stimulation, agricultural activities, local savings and credit associations, and income generation.

The program focuses on the entire family, both the woman who signs up as a member as well as her husband and her children.
